Council has prepared Amendment C147 to the Whitehorse Planning Scheme. The amendment affects the property known as 630 Mitcham Road and 2 Redland Drive, Mitcham.
The amendment seeks to rezone the property from Industrial 3 Zone to Business 3 Zone to allow the purpose-built development on this property to be used for office uses rather than the research and development and associated uses allowed through Whitehorse Planning Permit WH/2003/13906. Other than the rezoning of this property no other changes are proposed as the existing vacant building is able to be used for the purposes sought without the need for any further works.
