Bennettswood Neighbourhood House offers a welcoming and inclusive environment for all ages. The house provides educational programs, health and wellbeing activities, social activities, support groups, children’s programs and a meeting place for community groups.
Programs and services include:
- Art classes - balloonology, drawing, watercolour
- Computer tuition and internet access
- Craft - crochet, felt, embroidery, leadlight
- Parent-led playgroup
- Health and wellbeing - gentle and light exercise, health information
- Pilates, strength training, walking
- Music and dance - piano, guitar, harp, English country dancing, singing
- Social activities - book borrowing, lunches, mahjong, theatre outings
- Support groups - Alcoholics Anonymous, diabetes, home birth
- Community groups
- Room hire - Auslan, music for kids
