Pyrus in flowerA tall, fast-growing, deciduous, pyramidal-shaped tree with glossy green leaves that become a brilliant red-crimson in autumn and white flowers in spring. Not suitable for use under powerlines, however can be used in narrow nature strips. Numerous cultivars of Pyrus are available to suit a range of conditions including Pyrus ‘Glensform’ Chanticleer and Pyrus ‘Aristocrat'.
