Avenue Neighbourhood House @ Eley

Since its inception in 1983, Avenue Neighbourhood House@ Eley Inc. occasional Childcare has continued to develop and grow as a provider of high-quality services and support to the parents, children and community members of the City of Whitehorse and beyond. We offer an array of educational programs designed to encourage children’s social and emotional growth. Whilst providing the highest quality of care and education for children between the ages of 0 months- 6 years, we embrace the National Quality Standard by the Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA). Our team of nurturing and experienced educators will partner with you to develop a fun learning play-based early learning program that helps your child realise their potential. Even more importantly, our educators will ensure your child is safe, secure and happy while at the Avenue Neighbourhood House @ Eley Inc. Centre. We are a Cancer Council endorsed sun safe centre. Opening hours: Mon 9am – 2pm 3 & 4 year old Tues–Fri 9am-3pm Cost: for $11 per hour parents can have up to 15 hours of quality care

Bennettswood Neighbourhood House

Bennettswood Neighbourhood House is a warm and welcoming place where people with varied interests and backgrounds can share and gain friendship, skills and knowledge. Classes and activities in health and wellbeing, community music, art, computer basics and community lunches. Venue hire for community groups, small community-based business and children's birthday parties.

Box Hill South Neighbourhood House

Box Hill South Neighbourhood House is committed to providing a friendly environment where people can come to develop their interests and skills, form new friendships and participate in their local community. Classes and activities are held during the day, evening and weekends. Programs and services include: Painting, Botanical drawing and craft groups Individual computer classes Workshops such as 'How to buy and sell on eBay', digital cameras, mobile phones and personal development classes Community lunches French, Italian and Spanish language classes Childcare and three-year-old kinder groups Friday playgroup, German playgroup and Ukrainian children's activities group Interest groups such as writing, gardening and book club Health and wellbeing classes including exercising with weights, yoga, walking group, meditation and pilates Room hire

Burwood Neighbourhood House

Activities include health and wellbeing classes such as balance and flexibility, yoga, Pilates, strength training, Zumba for seniors, and meditation; computer classes; Boroondara Toastmasters Group; Burwood Bulletin Group; mothers groups; playgroups; craft; walking groups; and support groups including Lone Parents, Ladies Social, Breast Cancer, Women's Wellness Group (MS).

Clota Cottage Neighbourhood House

Range of recreational, social, educational and children's activities for members of the community. Information and referral to other organisations and some advocacy. The house runs playgroups and is a registered provider of occasional childcare.
