Wesley Social Support

Wesley’s Social Support Program supports older people and people with a disability to get back to the things they love. Social support provides opportunities for people to enjoy the company of others in the comfort of their own home, or out in the local community. A volunteer can support you to participate in activities you enjoy, head out for a coffee or meal, or enjoy a home visit. Group outings can also be arranged, such as going to a movie or enjoying a social lunch. Our Telelink program connects people for regular group telephone conversations on over 20 different topics of interest. We’d love to hear what topics you enjoy talking about! Wesley provides a range of social support programs across Melbourne, aiming to enhance social connections, independence and wellbeing. Programs are available to eligible people aged 65 and over, adults with a disability, and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people aged 50 and over. Call us to find out more about getting back to the things you love on 13 93 75.
