Melbourne City Mission Inc Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) Unit

We provide Case management Service for people with an Acquired Brain Injury. Case Management includes linkage to services, identifying goals, planning, providing ABI education for people aged between 18-64 on a low income or whose injury was non-compensible.

Melbourne East Disability Advocacy

Melbourne East Disability Advoacacy (MEDA) provides individual and volunteer advocacy to people with intellectual disabilities in Whitehorse, Monash, Manningham, Boroondara and Maroondah. Individual Advocacy: Individual Advocacy is when a person with a disability is assisted by an advocate who takes action on their behalf and in their best interests. This can be: - providing information and advice so that the person with a disability can advocate for themselves. - supporting the person with a disability to take action on any matter related to discimination. Volunteer Advocacy: One to one partnerships are formed between people with intellectual disabilities and volunteer advocates. Volunteers advocate on behalf of or beside the person they are partnered with to represent their rights and interests.

Victoria's leading membership base not-for-profit organisation working with people with a mental illness their families and friends to improve their well being.

Motor Neurone Disease Association of Victoria Inc.

Provides information and support for people with motor neurone disease, their carers, family and friends. The Support Service offers information, MND Advisor service, loan of disability aids and equipment and volunteer services. Information/education for health professionals. Dissemination of research information. A statewide network of support groups.

Nadrasca

Established in 1967, Nadrasca's purpose is to Establish & Develop a Range of Services for People with a Disability. Nadrasca assists adults with a disability in the areas of physical development, independence, skills training, vocational training/placement, employment services and the provision of accommodation services.
