The University of Third Age (U3A) is a voluntary community organisation which supports positive ageing by providing low-cost learning opportunities and social interaction for retired and semi-retired members of the community to encourage them to stay active and engaged.

Uniting Social Support Programs support older people and people with a disability to get back to the things they love.
Social support provides opportunities for people to enjoy the company of others in the comfort of their own home, or out in the local community. A volunteer can support you to participate in activities you enjoy, head out for a coffee or meal, or enjoy a home visit. Group outings can also be arranged, such as going to a movie or enjoying a social lunch.
Our Telelink program connects people for regular group telephone conversations on over 20 different topics of interest. We’d love to hear what topics you enjoy talking about!
Our Chat-a-Ring program is for people who who like to have a chat with a volunteer on a regular basis.
Uniting provides a range of social support programs across Melbourne, aiming to enhance social connections, independence and well being.
