Complaints About Health Businesses
If you have a health complaint about a business in Whitehorse, contact Council’s Environmental Health Unit on 9262 6333. Complaints made to the Environmental Health Unit include:
- Premises operating in an unhygienic manner or using questionable practices
- Contracting a skin condition or infectious disease from a Health Act business in Whitehorse
When making a complaint, please specify:
- What you used or observed
- The date and time visited the premises or observed a problem
- Any other relevant details
Council will then investigate your complaint. All complaints are treated as confidential and if details are left, you will be kept informed of the progress of the complaint.
Your report helps Council make sure that a health safety problem is identified and may prevent it from happening again.
