Council Plan 2011-2015

In delivering the Council Plan, councillors will strive to:

  • Focus on community needs, for all sections of our community
  • Provide value for rates, recognising the balance of efficiently delivering quality services that meet the community’s growing expectations
  • Maintain and carefully manage all Council assets on behalf of the community
  • Communicate in an honest and informative manner. Council aspires to be responsible and prudent custodians of Council’s community assets and long-term stable financial position. Council aspires to be a leader in local government, demonstrating vision and long-term planning.
