Diversity Policy
Development of the Whitehorse Diversity Policy and Action Plan 2012-2016 is underway. Whitehorse City Council highly values the municipality’s culturally, religiously and linguistically diverse communities. Members of the community are invited to participate in a workshop or online survey to help develop this important plan.
With almost one-third of Whitehorse’s population born overseas, community feedback is vital in assisting Council to understand current interests and needs of people from diverse backgrounds.
A community workshop will be held at the Whitehorse Civic Centre (Willis Room), 379-397 Whitehorse Road, Nunawading, on Tuesday 21 February from 6.30pm to 8pm.
To attend, phone Council’s Diversity and Healthy Ageing Officer Railey Orger on 9262 6101 or email railey.orger@whitehorse.vic.gov.au
Alternatively, complete the online survey www.surveymonkey.com/s/7RYZQSK or phone 9262 6101 to request a hard copy.
