If you would like to donate money to local not-for-profit organisations, you can visit the following websites:

  • Whitehorse Community Chest (donations help support not-for-profit organisations in the City of Whitehorse such as Box Hill Hospital, Eastern Emergency Relief Network and NADRASCA)
  • GiveNow.com.au (search by cause or location to donate to a range of not-for-profit organisations across Australia)

Donate Goods Locally

If you would like to donate goods, please contact the Eastern Emergency Relief Network. The network accepts the following donated goods: household furniture (in good condition); whitegoods (in good working order); electrical applicances (in good working order); beds, mattresses, blankets (in clean condition); household utensils (small amounts of crockery, cutlery and cooking equipment); baby clothing (in good, clean condition); non-perishable food items and toiletries.

Christmas Gift Appeal

Help bring some joy to needy families this Christmas by taking part in Whitehorse’s Christmas Gift Appeal. Whitehorse City Council collects gifts for the Eastern Emergency Relief Network's (EERN) Toy Appeal every year.

More than 140 welfare agencies in the eastern suburbs are members of EERN and benefit from these donations. Gifts can be donated until Friday 14 December  at any of Council’s three customer service centres.
