Honey Locust

 An attractive, horizontally branched, deciduous tree with grey-brown ridged bark. The leaves are large and light green turning yellow in the autumn. The fruit are large flattened brown seedpods. Can be used under powerlines. Not suitable for use in narrow nature strips. Numerous cultivars of Gleditsia are available to suit a range of conditions.
