Why we should ‘Give a Fork!’ about waste

13 Jul 2017

In the final workshop in the 2017 Smarter Living Series, participants will learn how to minimise the harm done by some of our food choices, and why we should ‘give a fork!’ about food waste.

Whitehorse Councillor Prue Cutts said Cassie Duncan from not-for-profit group Sustainable Table would present the session on Wednesday 26 July.

“This is a great topic to explore with an expert who has already done all your research for you. Come and learn about the state of the planet’s food systems, mindful meat-eating, sustainable seafood and the practical things you can do to reduce your environmental impact through the food you eat,” Cr Cutts said.

Bring along your home-grown produce to the session and take part in an optional food swap from 6.45pm to 7pm.
