Discover Whitehorse’s top 10 bush foods

10 Aug 2017

A free presentation this month by an expert in edible garden design will introduce you to the top 10 indigenous bush foods of Whitehorse.

Whitehorse Councillor Prue Cutts said Karen Sutherland from Melbourne’s Edible Eden Design would teach people how to grow and use these native herbs.

“Get an insight into new ways to use the urban garden from Karen, an expert in everything to do with edible gardens. There are a whole range of delicious, vibrant herbs native to Whitehorse that you may never have heard of before,” Cr Cutts said.

“Karen will tell you all about them, how best to use them and bring each one along for participants to taste and smell.”

This presentation is part of Council’s Whitehorse Tree Education Program.
