A range of free quilting demonstrations is on this month to accompany the impressive exhibition, Reflection: Australian Quilts in Public Places at Whitehorse Artspace.
Whitehorse Councillor Tina Liu said Reflection showcased a display of original textile artworks by Australian quilters.
“The free demonstrations highlight the skill and talent that goes into creating these sumptuous, colourful works of art. The quilts you will see at Reflection are the height of achievement in the quilting world,” Cr Liu said.
“Come along and find out just how complex and mesmerising the art of quilting can be as the exhibiting artists demonstrate amazing techniques each Saturday during the exhibition.”
