One of the most-read and famous children’s books of all time, The Very Hungry Caterpillar, emerges off the page in a masterful theatrical experience for the whole family at the Whitehorse Centre.
Whitehorse Councillor Ben Stennett said the production was set to engage and mesmerise young audience members and their families.
“This has been programmed for the spring school holidays and is the perfect treat for children,” Cr Stennett said.
“Full of puppetry and gentle special effects, this show features the adorable caterpillar and other delightful characters from three more of Eric Carle’s bestselling classic tales, The Artist Who Painted a Blue Horse, Mr. Seahorse and The Very Lonely Firefly.”
Created by Jonathan Rockefeller, this critically acclaimed Australian made show will excite, educate and entertain new readers, first-time theatre-goers and those who grew up with these books. This is a delightful and timeless classic for all generations.
