Local Laws & Animals

Council administers a series of laws and regulations to help maintain the safety and amenity of the municipality.
 
Council's Traffic and Local Laws Department is responsible for parking control, animal management, administering Council's suite of local laws and the provision of school crossings.
 
Local laws are designed to ensure all Whitehorse residents can enjoy the amenity of the area and to manage issues that may cause a nuisance for residents.
