Council maintains 170 playgrounds throughout the City of Whitehorse for the enjoyment of children, parents and carers.

With more than 350 parks in the City of Whitehorse, visitors can enjoy BBQ facilities, picnic areas, , walking and cycling tracks, dog off-lead areas, wetlands and lakes, sites of historical significance and sculptures.

Parkland Advisory Committees are Council volunteers who provide valuable support for the care and improvement of many parks in Whitehorse.
