The Local Government Act 1989 specifies that Council must publish all public notices on its website.
Council intends to sell the 20m2 of land known as Lot 1 on proposed Plan of Subdivision 812390G, by private treaty to the registered proprietors of 55 Dorking Road, Box Hill for the consideration of Sixteen Thousand Dollars ($16,000) plus GST.
The land proposed to be sold is shown hatched on the plan below, and is part of the land contained in Certificate of Title Volume 10749 Folio 119, being located adjacent to the land known as 55 Dorking Road, Box Hill.
Zoning: General Residential Zone-Schedule 1 (GRZ1)
Council gives public notice of its intention to sell the land known as Lot 1 on proposed Plan of Subdivision 812390G (land adjacent to 55 Dorking Road, Box Hill) pursuant to Section 189 of the Local Government Act 1989 (the Act).
Interested persons are invited to make a submission. Written submissions regarding this proposed sale will be considered in accordance with Section 223 of the Act. Council must receive submissions by Monday 25 September, 2017.

Written submissions are to be addressed to the Chief Executive Officer City of Whitehorse, Locked Bag 2, Nunawading DC 3131 or delivered to the Nunawading Civic Centre, 379-397 Whitehorse Road, Nunawading.
Any person making a submission and requesting to be heard in support of their written submission is entitled to appear in person, or may be represented by a person acting on their behalf, before a Committee of Council on Monday 9 October 2017 at 8 pm at the Council Chamber, Nunawading Civic Centre, 379-397 Whitehorse Road, Nunawading.
After considering all submissions, Council will decide whether or not to proceed with the proposed sale.

WHITEHORSE PLANNING SCHEME
Notice of Approval of an Amendment
The Minister for Planning has approved Amendment C182 to the Whitehorse Planning Scheme. The amendment comes into operation on the date this notice is published in the Government Gazette.
The amendment rezones land at 217 and 219-233 Burwood Highway, Burwood East from Residential Growth Zone (Schedule 2) to the Mixed Use Zone and applies the Environmental Audit Overlay to the land.
A copy of the amendment can be inspected, free of charge, at the Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning website at www.planning.vic.gov.au/public-inspection and free of charge, during office hours, at the offices of the Whitehorse City Council, 379 Whitehorse Road, Nunawading.
