The Local Government Act 1989 specifies that Council must publish all public notices on its website.
At its meeting on 25 June 2018, Whitehorse City Council resolved that its Budget 2018/19 (Budget) and updated Council Plan 2017-2021, including the Strategic Resource Plan 2018-2022 (Council Plan), be adopted in accordance with Sections 125, 126, 127, and 130 of the Local Government Act 1989.
Copies of the adopted Budget and Council Plan are available for inspection during normal operating hours at the following Council offices and libraries:

Council intends to lease part of the land located at 653-661 Elgar Road, Mont Albert North (known as Elgar Park) to United Energy Distribution Pty Ltd on the following terms:
Land Area: 41 square metres
Proposed Use: Electricity substation
Title Description: Part Volume 11532 Folio 134 and part Volume 11320 Folio 036
Length of Agreement: Fifty (50) years
Rental: One Dollar ($1) plus GST per annum if demanded
Council gives public notice of its intention to lease the land to United Energy Distribution Pty Ltd pursuant to Section 190 of the Local Government Act 1989 (the Act).
Interested persons are invited to make a submission. All submissions regarding this proposed lease will be considered in accordance with Section 223 of the Act.
Council must receive submissions by Monday 22 October 2018.
Written submissions are to be addressed to the Chief Executive Officer City of Whitehorse, Locked Bag 2, Nunawading DC 3131 or delivered to the Nunawading Civic Centre, 379-397 Whitehorse Road, Nunawading.
Any person making a submission and requesting to be heard in support of their written submission is entitled to appear in person, or may be represented by a person acting on their behalf, before a Committee of Council on Monday 12 November 2018 at 8.00 pm at the Council Chamber, Nunawading Civic Centre, 379-397 Whitehorse Road, Nunawading.
After considering all submissions, Council will decide whether or not to lease the land to United Energy Distribution Pty Ltd for the purposes stated above.
