    The Amendment comes into operation on the date this notice is published in the Government Gazette (Tuesday 3 October 2017).

    The Amendment updates the mapping and ordinance for the Bushfire Management Overlay (BMO) across Victoria by:

    • Inserting updated BMO maps into 64 planning schemes.
    • Inserting schedules to Clause 44.06 in 47 planning schemes
    • Deleting redundant references to the Wildfire Management Overlay
    • Deleting the BMO (maps and ordinance) in some areas where the vegetation no longer meets the criteria as set out in Advisory Note 46.
    • Amending schedules to clause 61.03 for planning schemes to update the maps listed in the scheme.

    COUNCIL MEETING TO CONSIDER THE ANNUAL REPORT 2016/17

    Notice is hereby given that Whitehorse City Council has prepared an Annual Report for the financial year ended 30 June 2017 in accordance with Section 131 of the Local Government Act 1989.

    The Annual Report 2016/17 contains:

    • The Report of Operations
    • Annual Financial Report
    • Audited Performance Statement and Financial Statements; and
    • The Independent Auditor’s Reports for the Performance Statement and Financial Statements.


    Pursuant to Section 134 of the Local Government Act 1989, the Annual Report 2016/17 will be discussed by Council at its meeting on 16 October 2017, commencing at 7pm in the Council Chamber, Whitehorse Civic Centre, 379-397 Whitehorse Road, Nunawading.

    Pursuant to Sections 131 and 134 of the Local Government Act 1989, copies of the Annual Report 2016/17 are available for inspection at the following offices:

    WHITEHORSE PLANNING SCHEME
    Notice of Approval of an Amendment
    Amendment C182

    The Minister for Planning has approved Amendment C182 to the Whitehorse Planning Scheme. The amendment comes into operation on the date this notice is published in the Government Gazette.

    The amendment rezones land at 217 and 219-233 Burwood Highway, Burwood East from Residential Growth Zone (Schedule 2) to the Mixed Use Zone and applies the Environmental Audit Overlay to the land.
