Renew Collection
Council’s Renew Collection aims to help residents recycle more household items and reduce the amount of waste that goes to landfill. Run annually, residents can recycle their unwanted but useable household goods during the Renew Collection in April. Council also provides a Renew Drop Off Day for recycling larger household and electrical items.
Any household goods recycled through the Renew Collection or Drop Off Day should be of suitable quality for reuse. These items will be reused as they are or recycled into new products. Council encourages residents to continue to donate items to local charities. Renew aims to make it easier for residents to recycle items that would normally end up in the rubbish bin or hard waste collections.
