Road & Footpath Maintenance
Road maintenance, including road refurbishment, road reconstruction, rebuilding and resurfacing is undertaken by Council’s Engineering and Environmental Services Department.
A dedicated footpath inspector indentifies all defects using the latest GPS technology.
Council’s City Works Department undertakes minor street maintenance such as repairing potholes, footpath repairs, road and footpath sweeping, installing and maintainging street signs, and maintaining street furniture.
A sign inspector determines repairs and replacement of road signs as required.
