Aqualink offers flexible and occasional childcare for all

25 Jan 2018

Have you ever wished for flexible, short-term childcare while you did a quick fitness workout and had a quiet coffee afterwards?

Whitehorse Councillor Prue Cutts said Aqualink Box Hill and Aqualink Nunawading offered the perfect solution, with flexible crèche and occasional care services available for both members and non-members.

“The registered crèche facilities at Nunawading and Box Hill have three sessions from 9am to 1pm which coincide with popular group fitness classes. It is a great, affordable way to complete your exercise knowing the children are well cared for and having fun,” Cr Cutts said.

Occasional care also operates from 9am to 1pm and allows parents to leave the centre while children are cared for.

“That means you can complete errands without having to get children in and out of car seats, interrupt their sleep patterns or end up with only half of your ‘to do’ list finished,” Cr Cutts said.

To make a booking to use the creche’s services, phone Aqualink Nunawading on 9878 4576 or Aqualink Box Hill on 9898 2099 or speak to a Customer Service Officer next time you visit Aqualink.

Members can book a space for their children one week in advance, and non-members can phone after 6pm the night before they want to place their children in care.

There is a maximum of 15 hours per week, per child. Children aged 6 weeks up to primary school age are welcome.
