Want to play a game of golf, take up swimming lessons, join a netball or indoor soccer competition? Council owns and runs a number of fantastic sport and leisure centres offering a wide range of opportunities to help improve your health and fitness.

Aqualink Box Hill & Aqualink Nunawading Leisure Centres
Council owns and runs two leisure centres in the municipality: Aqualink Box Hill and Aqualink Nunawading. The centres provide great facilities and a wide range of health and fitness programs.

Morack Public Golf Course
Council's Morack Public Golf Course is a picturesque 18 hole course that is open every day of the year except Christmas Day.

Nunawading Community Centre
Council's owns and runs this indoor stadium that is suitable for badminton, netball, basketball. The centre also includes five outdoor tennis courts. Rooms are available for hire.

There are two skateparks in the City of Whitehorse: Box Hill Skate Park and the Vermont South Skateboard Ramp.

Sporting Groups
There are more than 120 sporting and recreation groups in Whitehorse including athletics, basketball, bowling, cricket, cycling, football, hockey, karate, lacrosse, netball, rugby, soccer, tennis and more.

Sportlink Vermont South 
Sportlink is an indoor/outdoor multipurpose sports facility with four indoor and four outdoor courts.

Sportsfields & Reserves
There are a number of sportsfields and reserves located throughout the municipality, catering for a wide array of sporting interests including football, cricket, athletics, hockey, netball, archery, cycling, rugby, soccer and baseball.  

Whitehorse Sport & Recreation Network  
The Whitehorse Sports and Recreation Network provides Council with advice and guidance on the future of sport and recreation development within the City of Whitehorse.
