Whitehorse Sustainability Grants

Whitehorse City Council is delivering a small grants program to support community groups and not-for-profit organisations to deliver sustainable initiatives.

Groups are eligible to receive up to $1000 for a project or event that will be undertaken in 2019/20 that has a positive environmental outcome.

Climate change, green power and community power, light globe recycling program, solar power and systems.

Get rewarded for making small, positive changes to the way you live.

Sustainable Community
Sustainability Street Program, Sustainable Ambassador Program, Live Green with LESS, and Transition Communities.

Sustainability Rebates
Greywater treatment system rebate, rainwater tank rebate, solar rebate, home composting incentive program rebate.

Strategy that outlines Council's sustainability agenda.

Programs that aim to divert waste from landfill.
