Sustainable Living Guide

How can you use less water in your garden? What are some of the safe, natural cleaning products for the kitchen? Are worm farms easy to use? Answers to these questions about sustainable living – and many more – can be found in Council’s Sustainable Living Guide.

The Sustainable Living Guide acts as a ‘how to’ booklet by providing practical advice on how to be more sustainable at home. It outlines easy changes that anyone can make to reduce their impact on the environment, save money and still live comfortably.

A limited number of copies of the Sustainable Living Guide are available free of charge from Council’s three customer service centres at the Whitehorse Civic Centre in Nunawading, Forest Hill Chase Shopping Centre or Box Hill Town Hall. Alternatively, pdfs of each section are available to download below.
