The new WalkSpot project will explore people’s perceptions of pedestrian safety across Metropolitan Melbourne, and Whitehorse City Council is taking part.
Council is teaming up with other local governments, Victoria Walks and the state government and we need community input as well.
Walking is a fantastic, healthy and environmentally friendly form of transport and recreation. Council is keen to help more people get walking and the WalkSpot data will help Council understand what community members like and don’t like, about walking around Whitehorse.
You can have your say about how safe you feel while walking in Whitehorse or other areas throughout metropolitan Melbourne with the user-friendly WalkSpot online map.
The WalkSpot map will be open 14 March to 28 April 2017.
