Whitehorse Interfaith Network

The Whitehorse Interfaith Network (WIN) committee comprises Council and local community representatives. Community representatives may be members of faith organisations or simply individuals with an interest in interfaith cooperation. The committee meets on the second Tuesday of each month in Nunawading. Meetings start at 7pm and new members are welcome. For further information about the network, call 9262 6101.

Tour of Places of Worship
The Whitehorse Interfaith Network hosted its second annual Tour of Places of Worship on 21 November 2010. Participants experienced a guided tour of four local or nearby places of worship: the Doncaster Mosque, the Box Hill Baptist Church, the Buddhist Pureland Learning Centre (Burwood East) and the Hindu Chinmaya Mission (Templestowe).

Caring for the Earth Forum
On 25 July, the Whitehorse Interfaith Network hosted a public forum to explore the perspectives of five faiths on the environment and sustainability. Watch excerpts from each speaker’s presentation online (see below) or request a free copy of the forum DVD by calling 9262 6101.
