Permission to Travel to Perform Emergency Works at a Property in Whitehorse

If you need to travel from Melbourne to country Victoria, or from country Victoria to Melbourne or more than 15km to perform emergency preparedness activities for floods or fire at a property, you will need to apply for permission to travel from the local Council where that property is located.

If the property is located in the City of Whitehorse and you need to visit from country Victoria or from a distance greater than 15km, complete the permission to travel to perform emergency works at a second property application form ( DOCX 59.61KB) and return it to Council via email to customer.service@whitehorse.vic.gov.au.

Please Note: You can leave your home if the safety of you and your family is at immediate risk. This includes emergencies such as fire, flood, storm or significant power outage.

The Victorian Government has provided guidance about what you can do to prepare for, or respond to an emergency during COVID-19. This advice is available on the emergencies and coronavirus (COVID-19) page.
