Community grants offer financial support for all sorts of community groups to get new ideas off the ground, or secure a resource they need.

To be eligible for a community grant you need to apply as a not-for-profit or incorporated organisation, or groups can approach a local neighbourhood house or community organisation to sponsor/ auspice them.

Visit Council’s community grants page to get full details on the application process, including planning your application and applying for the right type of grant to meet your needs.

Applications for the annual program close this year on Friday 13 March.

SmartyGrants is now the only way to apply for a Whitehorse Community Grant. Book into an information session to learn how to use it, or phone Council’s Grants officer on 9262 6116 for support.
