Whitehorse News - March 2020
The Back to Earth Garden Competition is giving one lucky local school, early learning centre or community group $5,000 to bring their gardening or green space project to life.
The compost and mulch created from the green waste you put in your green bin at home helps farms, gardens and parks bloom.
Perhaps your school could benefit from a composting system or worm farm, your kinder needs a veggie patch or you’re keen to kick off a community garden.
Nominations are open and close on Friday 27 March. So get ready to submit your project. You get to decide which project wins. Voting by the community will take place between 16 April and 11 May.
