Further Information for People Who Speak Other Languages

If you’re an older person who doesn’t speak English or from a Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) background Council’s home and community services can cater to your needs.  Our qualified support workers speak a range of languages and our community programs and activities celebrate the rich cultural diversity of our residents.

New Clients

If you’re not yet using Council’s services you will need to register with My Aged Care and have a discussion about your needs with a qualified My Aged Care assessor in your home.  Call the national Translating and Interpreting Service on 131 450 for help to talk with My Aged Care and register for an assessment.
