Environmental Education - Excursions & Incursions

Whitehorse City Council’s Environmental Education Program is a free service run by Council officers and a team of volunteers.

The program provides environmental and sustainability education for local schools, pre-schools and a diverse range of community groups.

Most visits are to Blackburn Lake Sanctuary and Yarran Dheran, but other sites including incursions can be arranged.

A series of these activities have been aligned with The Victorian Curriculum F-10 and selected VCE subjects.
