The Quarterly Performance Report provides the community with quarterly updates on our activities, achievements, and performance towards our Council Plan 2025-2029 and Annual Budget 2025/2026.
Quarterly Performance Report Q2 2025/26 endorsed
It’s been an active quarter for Council, with a strong focus on community connection, local business support and service improvements. The October to December 2025 period saw Council deliver a wide range of community events, consultations and initiatives that engaged residents, supported small businesses and progressed key priorities across youth, sustainability, safety and waste services.

Some of the highlights this quarter were:
- Council delivered a series of major community events and activations, including Jazz Carols at Mont Albert Village which attracted over 250 attendees and supported local traders, as well as welcoming 1,427 new Australian citizens from 74 countries to Whitehorse.
- Our first Youth Hack-A-Thon brought together local secondary schools to develop innovative solutions to key youth challenges, with the winning team from Box Hill High School recognised for improving young people’s access to services.
- Council strengthened sustainability outcomes through the Clothes Swap & Mending Circle, with 142 participants, over 1,100 items swapped and around 200 items diverted from landfill.
- We progressed important service improvements, including launching the new Bookable system to streamline community access to facilities and making key decisions on future kerbside bin services following extensive community consultation.
- Council reinforced support for the local economy by signing the Small Business Friendly Charter and delivering digital marketing workshops to help small businesses improve their online presence.
