Width:
Best feature: Silver grey leaves contrasting with dark brown bark
Worst feature: Sometimes subject to insect attack like all native plants
Ideal for: A tough tree for a tough spot

This wattle is very long lived and is a great tree for a dry, hot spot.  It is tolerant of poor soils and really should be used more widely. The foliage is an attractive grey colour and the wattle blossom yellow.  Being a native it will brings birds and beetles to your garden. Many are planted in Bennett Street in Forest Hill.
