Please read the Terms and Conditions The Bike Shelter is solely for the use of storing and securing bicycles and related equipment. Motorcycles, scooters and mobility scooters are not permitted to be parked within the facility. The cyclist assures Whitehorse City Council that personal identification provided at the time of registration is not false or inaccurate or identification belonging to another person. The Bike Shelter is accessible by registered users 7 days a week, during the hours of 5am to midnight using the tag issued by Whitehorse City Council. Cyclists must have the tag with them to access the Shelter as it is unable to be opened for you by Council staff. The lockers are solely for the use of storing and securing bicycle accessories. Lockers are accessible using the key issued by Whitehorse City Council at the time of registration. The access tag and locker key is for the sole use of the registered user. The tag and key are not transferrable. Bicycles must be parked in the designated areas. No bicycles shall be left in the Bike Shelter in non-designated areas. There are a number of spaces where Council officers are not permitted to park their bike. This is to ensure there are spaces reserved for community members. Registration for access to the Bike Shelter does not guarantee that bike parking will be available. If all racks within the Shelter are fully occupied, please use the bicycle hoops located around the Civic Centre building. Any loss of access tags or locker keys must be reported immediately to the Whitehorse City Council’s Customer Service Department on 9262 6333. A replacement fee of $20 will be charged to the cyclist if the access tag and/or locker key are lost. Whitehorse City Council accepts no liability for damage or theft of property from the facilities provided. It is recommended that all cyclists secure their bikes to the bike racks for added security. Use of the Bike Shelter and access requirements may be reviewed every 6 months. Whitehorse City Council reserves the right to enter the Bike Shelter and carry out inspections and necessary maintenance. Whitehorse City Council reserves the right to review these Terms and Conditions at any time. The cyclist accepts and agrees to these Terms and Conditions as verified by signing the ‘Application to Use Bike Shelter’ form. Should the cyclist not comply with any of the above conditions, Whitehorse City Council reserves the right to terminate access to the Bike Shelter. Leave this field blank
