AHOY MATEYS, LET'S CELEBRATE!SF15 - Happy Kids

Celebrate the return of warmer weather at Whitehorse City Council’s Spring Festival on Sunday 16 October 2016.

Spring Festival is a free, fun-filled day that celebrates our vibrant community and offers family-friendly day out, with a variety of activities, performances and workshops to enjoy!

This year’s Spring Festival takes on a nautical theme and children are encouraged to dress up and immerse themselves in a wonderful world of aquatic fun.

Guests can relax at on the urban beach, listen to a story in the belly of a the Nylon Zoo’s beluga whale, enjoy performances of music and dance and wander through the art and craft market.

Guests can also expect plenty of great food, delicious coffee and sweet treats, and there will be ample seating and grassed areas to kick back, relax and enjoy the festivities.

Most importantly, Spring Festival provides an opportunity to get to know your local neighbourhood with the event showcasing displays by an abundance of local hobby clubs, interest groups and service providers, so come along and learn more about the activities offered just around the corner.

It is best to leave the family pet at home for the Spring Festival.
