Whitehorse Civic Centre, Nunawading
Celebrate the return of warmer weather at Whitehorse City Council’s ever popular Spring Festival on Sunday 18 October 2015.
Spring Festival is a free, fun-filled day that celebrates our vibrant community! Offering a perfect day out for all the family, explore the imaginative world of storytelling through children's books, the theme for this year's Spring Festival. Kids (and kids at heart) are encouraged to dress up as their favourite book character on the day as they experience a wonderful world of fun.
Come and enjoy a huge variety free rides, performances, workshops and activity sessions – have your face painted, see and participate in amazing circus shows and workshops, play with the giant garden games and see the best local bands, singers and artists across five stages.
Guests can also expect plenty of great food, delicious coffee and sweet treats, and there will be ample seating and grassed areas to kick back, relax and enjoy the festivities.
Most importantly, Spring Festival provides a great opportunity to get to know your local neighbourhood with the event showcasing displays by an abundance of local hobby clubs, interest groups and service providers, so come along and learn more about the activities offered just around the corner.
Parking is always limited around the event site, so public transport is recommended as the best way to travel to the event. It is best to leave the family pet at home for the Spring Festival.
Further information on the event, festival maps, stage programs and much more will be available soon. To stay up to date on all things Whitehorse Festival Season, follow our Facebook page via www.facebook.com/WhitehorseFestivalSeason
