EOI for Whitehorse Community Safety Committee

We are establishing a new Community Safety Committee (CSC). The CSC will meet 4 times per year over a 2 year term, and the first meeting will be scheduled in March 2026. 

To be eligible as a CSC Community representative, you must live, work, study or play in Whitehorse.

The CSC will provide informed community perspectives and advice to support Council’s community safety priorities. Key themes may include (but are not limited to):

  • Reducing substance abuse and related harm
  • Safety in homes and public spaces
  • Strengthening community connection and inclusion
  • Youth participation and engagement
