Did you know that the State Government has introduced new legislation to reduce the number of young children tragically drowning in private swimming pools and spas?

The proposed legislation means that from 1 December 2019, all swimming pool and spa owners must register their pool or spa with their local council. Whitehorse City Council will be taking registrations online. 

There will also be new compliance requirements to improve pool and spa safety and re-certification within certain time frames.
