Whitehorse City Council generally holds two formal meetings each month (except January and October), namely Ordinary Council and the Special Committee of Council meetings.

Meetings are held on a Monday evening, except when public holidays fall on the Monday and therefore the meeting is conducted on a Tuesday.  

These meetings are open to the public and commence at 7:00pm in the Council Chamber, Whitehorse Civic Centre, Nunawading.

A copy of Councils’ meeting schedule for the remainder of 2019 and 2020 is listed below.  Where changes are necessary, advance public notice will be provided to the community.

Special Committee of Council

Unlike Ordinary Council meetings, the Special Committee of Council does not consider planning matters and provides for members of the public to make presentations subject to Council’s Public Submissions Guidelines.

The Special Committee of Council will not make any decisions on presentations made to it on the night.
