Whitehorse City Council (Council) gives public notice of its purchase of the properties known as 53 and 55 Station Street, Burwood (Land) in accordance with section 112 of the Local Government Act 2020 (the Act).

The Land is contained in certificates of title Volume 9807 Folio 172, Volume 9807 Folio 173, Volume 9807 Folio 174 Volume 12137 Folio 808 & Volume 5356 Folio 154, and have been purchased by Council for open space purposes.

Council resolved to undertake an “inform” level of community engagement for the purchase of the Land, in accordance with its obligations under section 112 of the Act.
