All property valuations for rating purposes are now undertaken by the Valuer-General Victoria (VGV).
This comes into effect on the 2019/20 Valuation and Rate Notice.
Municipal property valuations have moved from being undertaken once every two years to every year, and valuations are effective as at 1 January of each corresponding year.
Council no longer holds responsibility for valuing properties for rating purposes. Find out more about Changes to Property Valuations.
If you want to discuss a valuation you can submit a property valuation enquiry.
All valuations enquiries will be referred to the Valuer-General Victoria (VGV) appointed valuation contractor who will undertake any review.
