Treasures from the Box Hill Historical Society Collection

Formed in 1963, the Box Hill Historical Society is a volunteer organisation that acts as an archive collecting mainly paper materials and is located in the Box Hill Town Hall. Their volunteers work to collect, preserve and share the unique history of the suburbs of Box Hill, Box Hill North and South, Mont Albert, Mont Albert North, Burwood and the area of Surrey Hills formerly located in the City of Box Hill. Box Hill Historical Society is affiliated with the Royal Historical Society of Victoria and is a member of the Association of Eastern Historical Societies.
