Councillor update from Cr Ben Stennett 

Thank you to everyone who attended the recent community activation in Britannia Mall (pictured), where Council sought feedback on the proposed weather shelter and community safety priorities. Your feedback will help shape future improvements for our local area.
In late July, I also attended the Whitehorse PSA Police Forum, where Victoria Police, Council and residents discussed local safety issues and opportunities to strengthen community partnerships.

At Council's July meeting, I was pleased to support a resolution to investigate additional locations for fenced dog parks across Whitehorse.

I have been advocating for a fenced dog park in Walker Ward and look forward to ensuring our community is considered as this work progresses.

I remain focused on delivering practical improvements for Walker Ward, including better community facilities, safer public spaces and quality local infrastructure.
