Heritage Assistance Fund

Whitehorse City Council recognises the need to encourage and assist the maintenance and enhancement of heritage properties. The Heritage Assistance Fund aims to provide funding support to individuals, community groups and organisations in their endeavours to maintain items of heritage significance in the City.

Each application can seek funding of up to 100 per cent of the total cost of the project, with the maximum grant per application being $2,000.

All owners or occupiers of heritage properties listed in the heritage overlay (with the exception of non-contributory properties within a heritage precinct) are eligible to apply for funds. Public-owned properties are not eligible for funding.
