Let’s get scientific and examine water cycles, water chemistry and the links between biodiversity and water quality. What role does water have in sustaining life around us and what challenges do waterways face in urban environments?

Citizen Science brings everyday people and professional scientists together by linking observations made by the public, to the researchers that want to know about them. Citizen Science is valuable in contributing to data that scientists cannot gather alone and makes science accessible and fun to all. Citizen Science is also a great way to engage students in science and environmental stewardship that continues beyond an excursion.
