The ABC Mont Albert Plaza Piano

Recently I received a request from community member – Richard Gerner who talked about getting one of the 10 ABC Pianos which are donated to the community annually. The ABC uses some of these locations to film their show “The Piano”. 
It was his suggestion to apply…and by Council working together with Richard and Mont Albert Village Association we had one allocated to the Mont Albert Plaza. Many people are enjoying the piano and sometimes when you walk down Hamilton Street you hear someone playing and sharing their music with the community.

On Friday 24 July we enjoyed a beautiful Winter Music concert featuring many locals both amateurs and professionals. Thank you to the Economic Development team and Mont Albert Village Association for their tremendous work on this event.

Hamilton St Streetscape  

The Streetscape Project is progressing well with the base concept plan completed. Community Engagement is scheduled for August 2026. Recent works included the mapping underground services so drainage issue – thankyou to local traders for your patience during these works.

New Rostrevor Parade Roundabout  

A new roundabout has been installed at the intersection of Rostrevor and Bundooran Pde slowing down the traffic and making it safer for the community.
