Parking Permits are available to assist residents, construction workers, traders and people with disabilities to have access to appropriate parking close to where they live, work and attend medical appointments.
Parking Permits for Medical Staff
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Council has issued parking permits to hospitals in Whitehorse for the use by critical frontline medical support staff. The management and issuing of the permits is being carried out by Hospital Management. To determine availability of the permits, medical support staff are to contact their hospital’s management team.
Residential Parking Permits
Council’s residential parking permit scheme covers some areas of the city to provide a balance of on-street parking opportunities for local residents, their visitors and other parking demands.
