Public Notice: Notice of Intention to Sell Land and Notice of Intention to Purchase Land

Whitehorse City Council (Council) gives public notice of its intention to sell the land known as 11 Court Street, Box Hill and 10-12 Watts Street, Box Hill (the Sale Land) in accordance with section 114(2)(b) of the Local Government Act 2020 (the Act).

The title descriptions of the Sale Land are as follows:

11 Court Street, Box Hill  Volume 3173 Folio 470
10-12 Watts Street, Box Hill Volume 10165 Folio 355

Council proposes to sell the Sale Land to the Suburban Rail Loop Authority for a price equal to market value.

Council also gives public notice of its intention to purchase the land known as 528 Station Street, Box Hill (the Purchase Land) in accordance with section 112 of the Act.

The title description of the Purchase Land is as follows:

528 Station Street, Box Hill Volume 7550 Folio 163

Council proposes to purchase the Purchase Land from the Suburban Rail Loop Authority for a price equal to market value.

The contracts of sale for the Sale Land and the Purchase Land will be interdependent with each other.

A person may provide written feedback on Council’s proposal to sell the Sale Land and/or Council’s proposal to purchase the Purchase Land.
