Slime Science Time

A gooey, squishy adventure where kids make colourful slime, learn the science behind it, and have fun stretching, squishing, and playing! 

When: Friday 10 April, 11am - 12pm and 1pm - 2pm

Fun With Clay - Noughts and Crosses Game

Guided by our experienced tutors, learn to hand-build and paint a fun and unique noughts and crosses game in clay, for firing and glazing.

When: Friday 10 April, 12:30-2pm
Where: Box Hill Community Arts Centre 
Age: 6-12 years 
Cost: $46 for and adult and child and $25 for an extra participant

Teens - Weaving With Natural Materials

Learn the specialised technique of basket weaving using natural fibres, with a focus on raffia. Guided by experienced tutors, learn shaping, coiling and finishing techniques. By the end of the session, you’ll have created your own unique raffia bag or purse to take home.

Moonlight Movies - How to Train Your Dragon

Join us at this free outdoor cinema experience! This time, we're heading into the world of How to Train Your Dragon, in this live action adventure!

Family Clay - Pet Water Bowl

Let's celebrate international pet day! Join us for a fun, hands-on family workshop and make something special for your furry friend. Perfect for beginners and budding potters alike. 

When: Saturday 11 April, 10am-12pm

Age: For families with children aged 6-12 years

Detectives Needed at Schwerkolt Cottage!

Receive your personal time travelling passport and solve cases as a time travelling detective, on a self-guided scavenger hunt! 

When: Saturdays and Sundays, 11-19 April, 1pm-4pm

Kindy Clay - Super Kitty

Pre-schoolers and adults team up to mould and shape their own Super Kitty in clay. A fun, creative hand‑building activity sparking creativity and fine motor skills. Clay work will be fired and glazed.

Slugs and Bugs Lino Printmaking Workshop

Step into the tiny but exciting world of insects in this hands-on lino printing workshop. Explore slugs, bugs and all kinds of fascinating creepy-crawlies to inspire your very own unique lino print.
