Program Descriptions
| Healthy Waterways | Essential, precious and often taken for granted. Where does water come from and where is it going? Let's explore the benefits of healthy waterways and the impacts of polluted stormwater. |
|---|---|
| The Web of Life: Biodiversity and Ecosystems | The world around us is diverse and delicate. But how are plants, animals and even non-living things in our environment interconnected? What is biodiversity and why is it important? |
| Minibeasts | Crawl, fly, wriggle and slide. Minibeasts are hard at work everyday recycling nutrients, pollinating plants, keeping pests under control and more! What minibeasts can we find in land and aquatic environments? What role do we have in caring for these small but important creatures? |
| Citizen Science Projects | Are you looking for a scientific project that contributes to professional research? Citizen Science brings everyday people and professional scientists together by linking observations made by the public, to the researchers that want to know about them. Citizen Science is valuable in contributing to data that scientists cannot gather alone and makes science accessible and fun to all. Citizen Science is also great way to engage communities in science and environmental stewardship. |
